The Role

This is a hands-on role covering day-to-day bookkeeping as well as management accounting across several group entities. You will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support key decision-making. The position is ideal for a finance professional who can manage detailed accounts while also providing higher-level analysis to guide business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping and management accounting
  • Manage bookkeeping across multiple entities, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and reconciliations
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards
  • Handle payroll, invoicing, credit control, and expense management
  • Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports for leadership review
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting across the group
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors when required
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making and identify efficiency opportunities
  • Ensure systems and processes are scalable to match business growth
About You
  • 3-5 years proven experience in both bookkeeping and management accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
  • Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proactive, organised, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • AAT, ACCA, CIMA qualification (or qualified by experience)
