Job summary

A well established multi national financial services business in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Group Accountant. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of financial accounting experience and offering responsibilities such as month-end close processes, financial reporting, and compliance with IFRS. The ideal candidate will be proactive with strong Excel skills and have the ability to work under pressure. This is a full-time position based on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of financial accounting experience.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete bank reconciliations for Group entities.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports.
• Assist with regulatory returns during busy periods.
