Group Accountant

Our client in the retail/manufacturing industry is seeking a Group Accountant to join their team in Germiston, Gauteng.

The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Manager and should have experience with bill of materials, accounting, creditors and expenses, cashbook, annual audits, and budgets.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Accounting
• Creditors and Expenses
• Cashbook
• Record keeping and filing
• Internal controls
• Fixed Assets
• Annual Audits as part of the financial team
• Annual budgets

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Syspro experience required / will be advantageous
• Accounting Degree / Management Accounting
• Minimum 5 – 8 years' experience as an Accountant within the Retail industry
• Experience within the retail/manufacturing sector, including working with bill of materials (BOMs)
• Inventory work-in-progress experience/management within retail/manufacturing
