Groundsman / Maintenance

Candidate requirements :

• Minimum of 3 years experience with grounds, equipment, and building maintenance, ideally on a remote lodge or farm.
• Driver's License (essential), own transport (preferred).
• Fluent in English (working language) and good Afrikaans skills.
• Good health and physical mobility.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Stable work history with contactable references.
• Sober habits and non-smoking.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a small team of 4-5 staff.
• Strong technical skills required: basic electrical, plumbing, sewerage, gas geysers, borehole pumps, pressure pumps, solar power, grounds and building maintenance, pools, fencing, fireguards, and road maintenance.
• Knowledge of first aid and safety regulations and procedures.
• Start date: latest June 2025.

Package :

• Salary R12-15k per month, negotiable depending on experience.
• 45 hours per week.
• 21 days annual leave.
• Staff uniform provided.
• One meal per day when on duty.
• Accommodation - unfurnished.
