Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 required.
• Previous experience in a factory environment preferred.
• Valid overhead crane and forklift licenses advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead gantry crane and manage loading/offloading tasks.
• Pack and prepare blankets for shipment, ensuring quality.
• Follow safety protocols and report to Production Head/Supervisor.

Job description

Reading job cards and understand the required parameters

Understand the process of blanket grinding, extraction and boxing (training provided)

Operate overhead gantry crane

Loading and offloading of Mandrels and rolls

Extraction of blankets from mandrels

Packing of blankets into crates after extraction

Nailing, weighing and strapping of crates

Safety awareness and complying to wearing of PPE

Any other reasonable request from the Production Head / Supervisor
