Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking an experienced Greaser/Motorman to join our Cable Lay Vessel (CLV) fleet. You will assist with engine room operations, maintenance, and safety, ensuring smooth offshore performance.

Strong offshore background is essential, with preference for candidates who have previously worked on offshore vessels (CLVs). The role demands teamwork, adherence to safety, and a proactive maintenance mindset for a demanding offshore environment.

Qualifications

• CoC III/5 Certificate of Competency is required.
• HUET-CAEBS certification is required.
• GWO Sea Survival (SS) certification is required.
• GWO Working at Heights (WAH) certification is required.
• Strong offshore experience is essential.
• Offshore vessel experience, preferably CLVs, is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of engine room safety and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team with operation and maintenance of engine room machinery.
• Lubricate, inspect, and maintain engines, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor machinery performance and report faults or irregularities.
• Assist with routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the engine room.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and offshore operational requirements.
• Support the engineering team to ensure safe, efficient vessel operation.

• Assist the engineering team with the operation and maintenance of engine room machinery.

Requirements
