The individual plays a critical role in helping organizations leverage technology to streamline their governance, risk, and compliance efforts, ultimately enhancing transparency, efficiency, and decision-making across the organization.

As a GRC Software Implementation Consultant you will be a crucial part of the client's Services team. You will utilize your internal audit skills and risk management knowledge alongside your passion for people, whilst you train and implement our world-class software.

  • Reporting to: Head of Services
  • Working environment & travel: Fast-paced office environment. The role is based in Johannesburg, but there is an element of travel outside of Johannesburg and across the African continent (maximum of 2-3 weeks at a time).
  • Working hours: 07:30am to 16:00pm, 08:00am – 16:30pm or 08:30am to 17:00pm when in the office and will ideally understand that there may be times that they need to work overtime on projects. When based at client sites, the individual will need to work the working hours stipulated by the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their governance, risk, and compliance objectives and tailor GRC software solutions (Diligent One) to meet their specific needs.
  • Software Configuration: Customize and configure GRC software platforms to align with clients' business processes, risk management frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Training and Support: Conduct comprehensive training sessions, empowering users to utilize the software's capabilities effectively. Guide clients in leveraging reporting and analytics tools to derive actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain clear documentation of processes, configurations, and customizations, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the implementation process. Consistently communicate with internal and external stakeholders, informing them of new releases, features, and functionalities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring timely work delivery and issue resolution. Identify and communicate innovations or knowledge that enhance our services and offerings.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrate a keen eye for identifying risks and issues, proactively mitigating potential roadblocks to project success. Uphold high productivity standards, delivering work within agreed time frames while completing all administrative tasks efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completed degree in Internal Audit - CIA, CPA, CISA, IIA
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an internal audit role
  • Hands-on exposure to ACL, Galvanize or Diligent products (desirable requirement)
  • Training/facilitation experience (desirable requirement)
  • Experience with audit management software such as Caseware Idea, TeamMate, Barnowl, Arbutus etc.
  • MS Office
  • GRC Software Implementation experience an advantage
  • R60 - R75k

Driver’s license and own transport is essential. Possible travel into the rest of Africa.
