Graphic Designer and marketing Co-ordinator

Our Client is a mixed-use property development in Cape Town combining office, retail, residential and leisure components in an integrated, stimulating and aesthetically pleasing urban environment. They are looking for a Graphic Designer/Marketing Co-ordinator in their Century City offices.

Duties include:

1. Create artwork conceptualisation and graphic design:
   1. Able to work independently and timeously on supplied briefs.
   2. Develop graphics for event illustrations, logos, social media, signage, branding, and other projects as and when required.
   3. Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
   4. Communicate a design brief and specs to printers and if necessary, external designers.
   5. Design, create and manage weekly emailers and monthly e-newsletters and other projects as and when required.
2. Assist with the coordination and organisation of all events:
   1. Assist in managing the applications and bookings for events.
   2. Liaise with relevant parties on approval procedures for all applications.
   3. Liaise with service providers.
   4. On-site assistance at events.
   5. Managing guest-lists.
   6. Maintain events calendar for Century City stakeholders.
   7. Photography of events an advantage.
3. Management of the media platform including:
   1. Reaching out to clients for monthly advertising sales and special offers.
   2. Liaising with clients.
   3. Artwork administration.
   4. Media Space Bookings and Sales.
4. Provide assistance/support to the Brand and Marketing Manager including:
   1. Basic administration and support.
   2. Distribution and management of promotional and advertising materials.
   3. Managing photo archives.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Graphic Design experience & qualifications.
2. Relevant marketing and digital marketing experience.
3. Relevant events experience.
4. Animation skill is an advantage.
5. Basic video editing is an advantage.
6. Excellent command of the English language.
7. Good writing skills.

Experience with relevant design and social media programs:

1. Adobe Creative Suite.
2. Canva.
3. Mailchimp.
4. Flipping Book.
