Graphic Designer

Port Shepstone – KwaZulu Natal – South Africa

The successful candidate will create designs and copy layouts for visual presentations, online advertising, and publications. They will also coordinate and execute marketing items needed for quarterly marketing campaigns and work on multimedia devices within various projects. The main role will be to create and dispatch newsletters for all entities and maintain the newsletter databases.

The Ideal Applicant Will Have

• Matric
• Graphic Design degree/diploma or 3 to 4 years of related experience
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting needs and priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with bulk mail/electronic mail applications (e.g., Mailchimp, Everlytic, or similar platforms)
• Creative thinking and artistic ability
• Proficiency in English language

Essential Computer Skills

• Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, HTML knowledge

Additional Computer Skills

• Dreamweaver or similar application, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of these is advantageous

Application should include a portfolio of design work completed over the past 12 months.
