Job description

Optimi has an opportunity for someone creative with a fantastic design background to join the team as a Graphic Designer. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and have exceptional time-management skills.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12
  • A qualification in graphic design or a related field
  • At least 5 years’ graphic design experience
  • Proficient in Adobe CS6/CC, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, and motion graphics.
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal communication)

DUTIES

  • Oversee all creative assets, ensure quality and uniform brand messaging.
  • Research new trends and design principles.
  • Design, edit, and update documents.
  • Motion graphic design
  • Understand the purpose of each brief and interpret the message visually.
  • Briefing and advising: brand style, layout, and print production.
  • Conceptualise and design creative components and campaigns for various platforms and types of media.
  • Create relatable, engaging graphics that speak to the brand.
  • Support the team on projects with systems design elements and layout that speak to the brand.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements,in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
  • Design graphic user interface elements, such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Support the divisional team (feedback on social media content, Google Analytics, and designing forms and flyers).


The position is based in Centurion.
