Job summary

Job description

Role Purpose

We are seeking a talented and creative Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join our Communications and Marketing team. In this role, you will conceptualise and produce high-quality visual content aligned with our brand guidelines. You will manage the design and production of marketing collateral across various media platforms including print, digital, and out-of-home (OOH) and project manage campaigns from inception to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external partners

Key Responsibilities

• Define and facilitate our Brand platform, tailoring strategies to different markets

• Incorporate broader corporate and marketing objectives into creative concepts and executions

• Maintain strict adherence to Corporate Identity guidelines throughout all creative work

• Manage brand positioning and conduct brand measurement studies, including e-reputation analysis

• Develop content for social media, websites, newsletters, signage, and other channels covering design and copywriting

• Coordinate and project manage collaboration between internal teams and external agencies

• Lead the selection process for communication agency partners and oversee ongoing relationships and deliverables

• Develop and implement content strategies for offline and online channels, including video, photography, and graphic content

• Formalise and execute social media strategies, serving as the brand ambassador internally and externally

• Manage the design budget and ensure all projects meet deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant qualification such as a Graphic Design Diploma or BCom Degree in Communications or a related field

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Confident communicator and presenter with strong writing, editing, proof-reading, and layout skills

• Experience in professional printing and publishing processes

• Excellent organisational, planning, and project management skills

• Creative with the ability to think outside the box and adapt to current trends

• Strong understanding of digital media and social media trends

• Self-motivated with a positive, professional approach to work

• Experience in omnichannel retail or FMCG marketing is advantageous
