GRAPHIC DESIGNER / EAST LONDON

Our client in the Automotive Industry is looking to appoint a Graphic Designer with experience in CoralDraw, with some Social Media Marketing.

Applicants MUST HAVE Matric, and a Valid Driver's License.

Skills and Experience (Experience and Qualification)

• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Marketing
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Graphic Design and Social Media Marketing
• Fully computer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with graphic design software such as CoralDraw, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign
• Good knowledge of digital marketing tools - Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and relevant social media platforms
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and targets
• Motivated with a proactive attitude
• Strong administrative and budgeting skills
• Valid Driver’s License

Duties and Responsibilities

Graphic Design

• Create advertising designs and layouts for print and social media
• Manage advertising briefs from concept to final product
• Design and produce decals and vinyl finished products (using Roland equipment), including application
• Newsletter production
• Provide creative suggestions and initiatives

Social Media

• Manage online brand and product campaigns to increase brand awareness
• Grow the company's social networks and online presence
• Create social media content to engage current followers and attract new ones
• Monitor online platforms, report, and measure campaign effectiveness
• Engage with potential leads and customers
• Stay updated with changes in social media platforms

Marketing

• Assist with product launches, displays, and reveal initiatives
• Participate in video production and advertising campaigns
• Support brand managers with marketing functions

Budgets and Administration

• Optimize marketing and social media initiatives within set budgets
• Record all advertising, marketing, and online costs
• Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports

Salary: Market related (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 17:15, and one Saturday morning per month.
