  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Risk Benefits: Life Insurance 3 x annual salary; Disability 75% flat (waiting period 3 months); Funeral cover R15,000 (member & spouse), and R7,500 for child 6 - 13 yards (under 6 years R3,540)
  • Employee Group Travel benefits
  • 21 days annual leave plus SA public holidays
  • Birthday Off
  • Employee Group Travel benefits
  • Hybrid working (job specific)

What you´ll do:

  • You’ll be responsible for in-house graphic design and artwork, including print publications, leaflets, magazine/newspaper adverts, OOH adverts, and merchandise.
  • You will also be skilled in digital design to produce in-house digital design projects including social media creative, display advertising, website banners, digital OOH and email graphics.
  • You’ll be editing video content for a multitude of channels where video footage is needed, such as TV advertising, paid social, YouTube and events.
  • Proficient in creating dynamic motion graphics and animations to enhance digital storytelling and elevate the brand. Covering any channels from display (HTML/HTML5) to social media.
  • You’ll provide a consistently high level of quality and design according to existing brand guidelines across all internally produced marketing material and documents.

What you´ll bring:

  • You have professional experience—preferably within the travel industry—as well as excellent desktop publishing skills within the full Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. You’re a high-level Microsoft Office user—particularly of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher—and you are accustomed to working with content from colleagues.
  • You’re a creative individual who can deliver concepts through to final artwork, who has a true passion for design and branding along with an acute understanding of how to make a brand identity come to life through many different channels. You can design for a range of communication platforms, from offline printing and documentation to web design publishing—not to mention animated display banners.
  • Visual aesthetics come naturally to you and you are obsessive about the universal design rules when building brand-new creative concepts
  • You genuinely care about the details, proof-reading final designs and always ensuring spacing, leading, and kerning are aesthetically correct—and you’re willing to go above and beyond to ensure you produce highest quality graphic design possible.
  • You’re friendly and approachable, with an ambitious attitude and the ability to prioritize your workload whilst maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to your responsibilities, whether you’re working autonomously or as part of a team. Impressive organization and communication are in your nature—you’ve got proven experience managing multiple projects at a time, establishing an effective workflow to keep track of upcoming jobs, works in progress, and completed tasks.
