Graphic Designer Position

A National market leader selling Glassware / Cutlery / Crockery / Equipment to the hospitality trade is seeking a Graphic Designer.

Candidate can be based in either Cape Town or Johannesburg.

Must have all own hardware and software, as well as own transport. Some travel may be required between branches.

Skills Requirements:

1. At least 3 years' experience in graphic design.
2. A degree or diploma in graphic design or a related field.
3. Experience in WordPress and WooCommerce essential.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
5. Extensive knowledge of Google Drive.
6. Experience with full Meta business suite.
7. Experience with Mailchimp.
8. Knowledge of WhatsApp Business.
9. Strong attention to detail.
10. Must have a keen eye for photography.
11. Solid verbal and written communication skills.
12. Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
13. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities:

1. Crafting innovative designs for online campaigns, catalogues, website, and videos.
2. Managing content updates on our website, ensuring its continual relevance and accuracy.
3. Liaising with overseas suppliers for content.
4. Managing and maintaining databases for Mailchimp.
5. Managing stationery requirements relating to email signatures and business cards.
6. Creating flyers, posters, and general artwork pertaining to marketing tools.
7. Liaising with the management team and ensuring product images are sent for mailers based on content requirements.
8. Collaborating with other members of the team to ensure that all content is consistent with our brand guidelines.
9. Remaining abreast of the most current design trends and techniques.
10. Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Must be able to work under pressure.
