Research and identify potential grant funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Write persuasive and high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports that align with funder requirements and organizational objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors, fostering engagement and support. Collaborate with program staff to gather information and ensure accurate project details in proposals. Manage grant timelines, submission deadlines, and reporting requirements. Track grant funding, expenditures, and outcomes, providing regular updates to the leadership team. Contribute to the overall fundraising strategy and development efforts of the organization.
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Philanthropy, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in grant writing and non-profit fundraising. Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills, with a keen eye for detail. Demonstrated ability to develop compelling narratives and articulate program impact. Strong understanding of the grant lifecycle and funding landscape. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management databases. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
