Job summary

Eskom invites graduates to join the Graduate in Training IBI X 1 at Arnot Power Station, Mpumalanga. The programme offers institutionalised and on-the-job training within Eskom’s SHEQ function, developing essential communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

You will work as part of a team, applying Eskom policies and procedures, while demonstrating integrity, professionalism and a proactive customer-focused approach throughout the placement.

Qualifications

• Fully completed degree in BA Industrial and Organisational Psychology.
• Degree in Behavioural Science or related field.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Eskom policies and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in institutionalised and on-the-job training within Eskom.
• Gain practical workplace experience through placement within Eskom Operations.
• Work effectively as a team player and contribute to team objectives.
• Apply Eskom policies and procedures in assigned activities.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Support liaising and negotiation activities where required.
• Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, customer focus, initiative, assertiveness and reliability in the workplace.
