Job Purpose

This graduate program is designed for a recent HR graduate to grow and develop skills & competencies across various HR functions in an FMCG environment, such as Talent Acquisition/Management, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Culture, and Change Management.


Roles And Responsibilities
  • Assist with the Talent Requisition process
  • Support the preparation of internal documentation for Employee Relations communication
  • Coordinate and manage the Onboarding Program
  • Support the execution of the Career Development agenda
  • Assist with SOX Audit and BBBEE annual certification preparation
  • Support the BBBEE and Skills Development teams
  • Coordinate the annual learning and development calendar
  • Organize training sessions and handle training administration
  • Assist with administration duties for the Compensation and Benefits team
  • Maintain personnel records securely and confidentially
  • Provide orientation and guidance to internal stakeholders as needed
  • Collaborate with HRBP’s on Culture initiatives
  • Participate in other HR duties as required
  • Lead employee engagement activities
  • Develop and customize HR reports & metrics to meet business needs
  • Support activities related to managing the Graduate Program
Knowledge, Experience, and Competencies
  • Minimum B.Com Degree / Honors, preferably in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or Law
  • Prior work experience is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Numerate with keen attention to detail
  • Result-oriented with leadership qualities and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent project management and team-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure
  • Proactive and eager to learn
