Graduate Teaching Assistant | Primary School | £82.14-£100 Per Day | Waltham Forest, East London

Are you a recent graduate looking to build hands-on experience in the classroom before pursuing a career in teaching, psychology, or education support? Reeson Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest.

This role is ideal for someone with a degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject, who is keen to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including those with special educational needs.

The Role:

Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Waltham Forest, East London

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Supporting the class teacher in daily lessons and classroom routines
  2. Providing 1:1 or small group support, particularly for children with SEN
  3. Encouraging engagement and positive behaviour during learning activities
  4. Helping with assessments, displays and learning resources
  5. Gaining valuable insight into the primary curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies
Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant Will Have:
  1. A degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology or related fields
  2. Previous experience working with children (in schools, tutoring or youth work)
  3. A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching or child development
  4. A positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
  5. A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
