We are seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer for a role based near Penrith in Cumbria. The company is an independent consultancy specializing in conservation and heritage-building projects. They are renowned for their conservation work and employ two engineers accredited with CARE (Conservation Accreditation Register for Engineers).

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Chartership status or aspirations with ICE or IStructE
• A clean UK driver’s license for site visits
• Residency near Penrith or in Cumbria

The role offers flexibility with hybrid working, requiring attendance at the office at least 3 days per week, with site and client visits as needed. The salary ranges from £23,000 to £26,000, depending on experience, especially valuing heritage sector experience.
