We’re looking for Graduate Software Engineers to join our two-year Graduate programme, giving you experience working in a FTSE 100 listed software company.

Our Graduate Software Engineers will contribute to building, enhancing, and maintaining software solutions aligned with Sage’s business plans and long-term objectives using the identified architecture.

The Graduate Developer’s primary focus will be on gaining the skills and knowledge to become an effective team member, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality products, systems, and services.

This is a hybrid role – three days per week in the Johannesburg Office.

Qualifications & Skills

To apply for the role, you will need to be a recent Computer Science Graduate. You should be able to demonstrate:

• A passion for tech, with relevant skills
• A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mind
• Resilience and determination to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Effective communication skills to collaborate globally
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn continually
• Ability to debug and resolve issues in software applications, ideally with C# and familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS & Azure)
• Ability to document code, APIs, and processes clearly
