Key Responsibilities :
- Operational Leadership : Oversee the daily operations of the Service Department, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to high-quality standards.
- Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Customer Satisfaction : Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and effectively, maintaining the organisation reputation for quality.
- Performance Monitoring : Manage departmental KPIs, including sales targets, productivity, and cost control, to achieve organizational goals.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure all service operations comply with safety regulations and global quality standards.
- Process Improvement : Analyse service reports and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Educational Background : Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or a related field, preferably a graduate.
- Professional Experience : 3-5 years of experience in a service management role within the automotive industry, preferably with premium brands.
- Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of automotive service processes, repairs, and maintenance, with a mechanical engineering perspective.
- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Abilities : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse data to drive performance improvements.
- Customer Focus : A commitment to delivering superior customer service and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Additional Requirements : Valid driver’s license.
