Graduate Risk Analyst

Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for risk management? Do you have a strong academic background and a keen interest in commodity risk?

My client is looking for an engaged and motivated Risk Analyst to join their dynamic Risk team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in commodity trading risk management, develop specialized expertise, and contribute to meaningful projects alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

What You'll Be Doing:


  • Prepare and deliver accurate daily P&L and position reports.

  • Collaborate with finance to reconcile monthly P&L figures.

  • Maintain data integrity in the Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM) system.

  • Support system enhancements, conduct UAT testing, and coordinate troubleshooting with internal teams.

  • Contribute to automation and standardization of reporting processes.

  • Gain cross-desk exposure through training initiatives.

  • Participate in ad-hoc strategic projects such as new commodity onboarding, compliance reviews, and risk framework improvements.

  • Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile month-end P&L.

  • Collaborate with relevant functions to maintain data quality


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Degree in Quantitative Risk Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • CFA/FRM certifications are a strong advantage.
  • 0-3 years of experience in risk/product risk/middle office roles within commodity trading or financial services.
  • Solid knowledge of commodity trading systems and ERP integration.
  • Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English.
