Job summary

Unitrans invites you to join a graduate programme in Strategic Procurement, based at Brackenfell, Cape Town. This immersive program develops procurement strategy, supplier relationships, and data-driven decision making within a collaborative environment.

You will work closely with mentors to build foundational skills for a rewarding career in procurement, gaining exposure to core processes and strategic initiatives across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics, Procurement, Operations Management, Accounting and Finance or related field at NQF Level 7+.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on suppliers, prepare RFQs, and analyse pricing and contract terms to support sourcing initiatives.
• Assist in spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance supplier value.
• Participate in supplier management and relationship-building efforts, gaining insights into sustainable procurement practices.
• Provide data analysis, reporting, and documentation support for procurement activities.
• Engage in project-based learning with guidance from mentors and coaches to deepen understanding of procurement’s strategic role.
