Placements24 is recruiting dynamic Graduate Mining Engineers to join their operational team in Rustenburg. This role offers a unique chance to apply theoretical knowledge to practical mining challenges, contributing to safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.

You will work closely with experienced engineers, geologists, and mine managers, gaining exposure to mine planning, development, and production, with comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Mining Engineering required.
• Strong understanding of mining principles and safety regulations.
• Experience with mining software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mine plans and production schedules.
• Conduct site inspections for safety and efficiency.
• Analyze geological data and surveys to optimize extraction.
• Contribute to design and maintenance of mining infrastructure and equipment.
• Prepare reports on performance, safety incidents, and environmental compliance.
