Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to assist with the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment. You will prepare detailed drawings and documentation, and support project execution with senior engineers across product design, testing and continuous improvement.

The role involves calculations, prototype development, manufacturability liaison, and collaboration with production, suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet quality and cost targets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Support senior engineers with project execution and technical investigations
• Participate in product design, testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct engineering calculations and performance analyses
• Assist with prototype development and evaluation
• Liaise with production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality standards
• Support new product introduction and design improvement projects
• Perform root-cause analysis and assist with corrective action implementation
• Assist in material selection, cost reduction, and value engineering activities
• Participate in quality inspections and testing procedures
• Help develop bills of materials and technical specifications
• Support project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting
• Engage with suppliers and external stakeholders regarding technical requirements
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems
• Contribute to research and development projects aimed at improving product performance and manufacturing efficiency
