A leading finance and administrative company is seeking a Graduate Junior Bookkeeper in Gqeberha for a 3-month fixed-term contract. Description

Our client is currently looking to employ a Graduate Junior Bookkeeper based in North End, Port Elizabeth.

Contract: 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of permanent employment upon review.

Salary: R8,000 – R12,000 CTC per month.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
  • Matric certificate with Accounting, Business Studies, and Computer Applications Technology (CAT).
  • A tertiary qualification (completed or in progress) will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

  • Perform basic bookkeeping functions.
  • Provide general administrative and financial support.
  • Assist the finance team with basic bookkeeping and data entry.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems and financial documentation.
  • Liaise professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves with business needs.
