Why This Role is Critical to Experian South Africa : At Experian South Africa, compliance is a strategic enabler that supports our expansion and innovation across Africa.

This role is pivotal in supporting the Compliance and Data Protection functions to ensure that Experian Africa adheres to legal and regulatory obligations.

The graduate will assist the compliance team in monitoring, data protection, reporting, and risk management activities, contributing to the development and implementation of compliance frameworks and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities : Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Support the Data Protection Officer with data subject access requests, privacy impact assessments, and data breach responses.

Research regulatory developments and prepare compliance reports and presentations.

Collaborate with the Compliance team to provide advisory support to business units.

Maintain compliance registers, risk logs, and documentation.

Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives.

Participate in compliance monitoring reviews and control enhancements.

Support cross-functional compliance projects and process improvements.

Provide administrative support to the Compliance and Data Protection teams.

Assist with the use and maintenance of GRC platforms like Archer and One Trust.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Compliance.
