Job description

Key Role :

The candidate will be rapidly upskilled to perform designs using vendor suites of engineering software tools such as Autodesk Civil3D for roads, earthworks, and pipe network modelling, along with AutoCAD for CAD production and Autodesk Construction Cloud for document management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design civil infrastructure projects using Civil3D (roads, pipe networks, bulk earthworks, etc.).
  • Provide technical input from initial assessment through feasibility, design development, construction, and project close-out.
  • Conduct investigations, surveys, engineering calculations, and prepare working drawings and estimates.
  • Review overall project designs and suggest improvements.
  • Assist with preparing cost estimates for projects.
  • Be detail-oriented with strong skills in municipal infrastructure and roads.
  • Work effectively in a team environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Model SHEQ standards and influence others to maintain safety, health, environmental, and quality policies.
  • Identify SHEQ risks and promote processes to achieve Zero Harm.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of BEng./BSc. (Civil Engineering) or BTech (Civil Engineering).
  • 0-3 years of civil engineering experience.
  • ECSA candidate status advantageous or in the process of applying.
