Key Role

Will be rapidly upskilled to perform designs using the following vendor’s suites of engineering software tools:

Autodesk Suite – Roads, earthworks, and pipe network modelling using Autodesk Civil3D, and CAD production using AutoCAD, along with document management via Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Minimum of BEng. / BSc (Civil Engineering) or BTech (Civil Engineering).
  • 0-3 years’ experience in civil engineering.
  • ECSA candidate advantageous or in the process of applying to be a candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Design of civil infrastructure using Civil3D (roads, pipe networks, bulk earthworks, etc.).
  • Provide technical input from initial assessment through feasibility, design development, and construction to project close-out.
  • Conduct investigations, surveys, design, engineering calculations, and prepare working drawings and estimates.
  • Review overall project design and suggest technical and design improvements.
  • Assist with the preparation of cost estimates for project designs.
  • Be detail-oriented with strong skills in municipal infrastructure and roads.
  • Work effectively in a team environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
