Responsibilities:

• This internal Black Broker Internship programme will expose graduates/interns to various Broker activities within Old Mutual Insure, including:
• Lead Generation
• Cold calling
• Canvassing (door to door)
• Sourcing of Partnerships and Collaborations
• Networking and managing external events

Admin and Housekeeping duties

• Ongoing learning and acquiring of Product knowledge (e-learning assessments, attendance at scheduled classes/internal training)
• Attend daily performance check-in sessions in the afternoons
• Participate in weekly “Peer to Peer” training sessions every Friday
• Attend product and underwriting training sessions as needed
• Participate in daily or weekly morning team meetings
• Submit weekly performance and sales feedback every Friday

Experience, knowledge & skills required

• Grade 12
• Unemployed Graduates / Interns
• Accredited Matric Certificate with at least 50% in Math and English
• Post-matric, tertiary qualification recognized by FSCA (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration, etc.) at NQF Level 6
