Interns will gain exposure to Broker activities including lead generation, networking, and performance assessments within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

• Expose graduates/interns to the full suite of Broker activities within Old Mutual Insure, including:
• Lead Generation
• Cold calling
• Canvassing (door-to-door)
• Sourcing Partnerships and Collaborations
• Networking and managing external events

Admin and Housekeeping duties:

• Ongoing learning and product knowledge acquisition (e-learning assessments, attending scheduled classes/internal training)
• Attend daily performance check-in sessions
• Participate in weekly “Peer to Peer” training sessions
• Attend ad hoc product and underwriting training sessions
• Participate in daily/weekly team meetings
• Submit weekly performance and sales feedback

Experience, knowledge & skills required:

• Grade 12
• Unemployed Graduates/Interns
• Accredited Matric Certificate with minimum 50% in Math and English
• Post Matric, Tertiary qualification, FSCA recognized 3-year qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce, Business Accounting, Business Informatics, Enterprise Risk Management, Insurance & Risk Management, Bachelor of Accountancy, or Bachelor of Business Administration)
• Minimum qualification is NQF Level 6
• Own transport and valid driver’s license preferred
• Based in KZN
