Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Financial Analyst for our client, a leading investment banking firm in Centurion, Gauteng. The role offers a steep learning curve and exposure to market research, financial modelling, and deal support while working closely with senior bankers.

You will build forecasting models, assist in client presentations, and participate in due diligence. This is an excellent ground-floor opportunity to launch a foundational career in investment banking in a dynamic office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field with excellent academic standing.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Advanced Excel skills (including VBA) and strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis including company valuations and comparables.
• Assist in preparation of pitch books, client presentations, and marketing materials.
• Develop complex financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Perform industry research and identify investment opportunities and risks.
• Support deal execution teams in mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising.
• Monitor market trends and economic developments relevant to clients.
• Contribute to due diligence processes for potential transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and financial institutions.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
