Duties

Pre-Primary educators will be expected to create a learning experience that stimulates and develops individual talents and prepares children for formal schooling, maximizing their personal, physical, and psycho-social development. They will need:

Qualifications & Experience
  • A post-matric certificate (NQF level 5) in ECD as a minimum or an undergraduate degree (NQF level 6) in ECD or B. Education (Foundation Phase)
  • A PGCE is necessary if the degree is in Psychology or deemed suitable
  • SACE certification and police clearance are required
  • 2-5 years of teaching experience
  • Computer and digital literacy
  • First Aid certification
