About the role

Excellerate Services is seeking a highly skilled, disciplined and professional Armed Reaction Officer to join our Security Division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding effectively to security incidents, high-risk situations and operational alerts while ensuring the safety and protection of clients, employees and company assets.

This is a demanding operational role requiring a proactive, alert and physically fit individual who can remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgement and maintain high standards of professionalism, firearm safety and operational readiness.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Valid PSIRA Grade B registration.
• Valid Code 08 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Valid firearm competency in Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle.
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent firearm handling skills.
• Physically fit and capable of meeting the operational demands of the position.

• Identify, assess and report potential security risks and threats.
• Provide professional, responsive and effective armed reaction services in line with client requirements.
• Monitor relevant intelligence sources, including social media platforms, and elevate potential threats as directed.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate operational information to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Conduct, operational policies and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain high standards of firearm safety, operational readiness and professional conduct.
• Work closely with operational management and security teams to ensure effective service delivery.
