Job summary

The school is situated in the heart of Rondebosch, Cape Town, and it offers classes from Grade 8 – Grade 9.

The following position will become available with effect from JANUARY 2026:

GRADE 8 & 9 TEACHER

The successful candidate should have:

  • A degree (NQF level 7) and PGCE or B. Education (Senior Phase or FET).
  • Qualifications to teach all subjects to Grade 8 and 9.
  • A minimum of four years teaching experience.
  • SACE accreditation.
  • Contribute positively to the narrative practices and values of the school.
  • Computer and digital literacy.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a growth mindset and a kind disposition.
  • Positive interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
  • Strong organizing, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Be willing to be involved in the extra-curricular programme of the school.
  • Be prepared to adapt to the Forres methods of curriculum delivery.
  • Clearance from the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO) confirming no record of sexual offences against children and a valid Police Clearance Certificate.
