Job summary

Nova Pioneer seeks an exceptional Grade 5 Teacher for our Boksburg Primary School starting January 2026. Lead instruction, plan lessons, and foster a rigorous, enquiry-based learning environment. You will be supported by Deans of Instruction and mentor Apprentice Teachers.

You will design engaging lessons with education designers and use technology to enhance learning, while observing and coaching peers. Collaboration in teams and parent communication are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent for Intermediate phase.
• SACE registration must be provided with certificate.
• Experience with Mathematics for the Intermediate Phase and ability to lead a classroom independently.

Responsibilities

• Design impactful, enquiry-based lessons with learning designers and technology.
• Observe, coach and model best teaching practices for Apprentice Teachers.
• Set rigorous goals and provide feedback; use data to adjust instruction.
• Communicate with parents and participate in parent‑teacher conferences.
• Participate in co-curricular activities and daily team/teacher meetings.
