GRADE 2 TEACHER

The school is situated in the heart of Rondebosch, Cape Town, and it offers classes from Grade 000 to Grade 7.

The following position will become available with effect from JANUARY 2026:

GRADE 2 TEACHER

The successful candidate should have:

• A minimum of four years teaching experience in the required phase.
• SACE accreditation.
• Clearance from the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO) confirming no record of sexual offences against children and a valid Police Clearance Certificate.
• Contribute positively to the narrative practices and values of the school.
• Experience in teaching the Number Sense approach would be an added advantage.
• The ability to use technology to enhance learning.
• Mentor, support and develop intern teachers.
• Possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a growth mindset and a kind disposition.
• Positive interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
• Strong organizing, planning, and reporting skills.
• Be willing to be involved in the extra-curricular programme of the school.
• Be prepared to adapt to the Forres methods of curriculum delivery.
