Grade 2 English Language Tutor – House Calls, Centurion

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to provide individualized instruction to a Grade 2 IEB student in English Language, focusing on reading and blending.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in English Language, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual students' needs.

Location : Centurion

Job Type : Part-time

Subject : English Language (reading and blending)

Session Details : House calls, preferably on Tuesdays.

Responsibilities :

1. Provide in-person tutoring to a Grade 2 IEB student in English Language (reading and blending).
2. Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve the student's understanding and grades.
3. Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
4. Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed.
5. Communicate regularly with the student and parents to provide feedback and updates.

Requirements :

1. Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in English Language or related field.
2. Strong knowledge of Grade 2 IEB English Language curriculum and assessment standards.
3. Experience teaching or tutoring Grade 2 IEB students in English Language.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students' needs.
