Job description

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

• Perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Attend to breakdowns on plant equipment.
• Assist with new mechanical and electrical installation.
• Assist with maintenance on boilers and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct inspections and complete reports as required.
• Complete root cause analysis on all breakdowns.
• Identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in the 20 keys improvement system.
  
  

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

• Minimum N2 qualification;
• Be in possession of a trade certificate as a Millwright;
• Must be computer literate;
• Must be prepared to work weekends, shifts, and public holidays when necessary;
• Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage;
• Refrigeration Plant Room experience will be an added advantage;
• Scales / electronic experience will be an added advantage;
• Must have own reliable transport.
