Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Golang Backend Developer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 2-4 years of experience to design and build scalable data stores, distributed systems, and back-end services. You will work on APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure, applying best practices for security and performance.

You will collaborate with the B2B GM and Back End Lead, standardizing procedures, and contributing to DevOps, tool optimization, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 2-4 years of working experience.
• Design and build data stores with complex relationships (relational or NoSQL).
• Built/Designed distributed systems, back-end APIs, or microservices and cloud infrastructure.
• CS fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and complexity analysis.
• Experience with continuous deployment technologies (CI/CD, e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Desirable: unit testing, performance/load testing, and end-to-end tests; Cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure; IaC, CDK, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Understand business processes and domains.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with B2B GM and B2B Back end Lead regarding understanding of systems, and strategy and then oversees the implementation.
• Communicates with team members about expectations and solution specifications, ensuring product quality by standardizing procedures per company policies.
• This includes DevOps, optimising internal tools and flows, ensuring security and processes for development and cloud infrastructure with technical documentation and SDLC flows.
• Assists with process, structure, task management, and implementations.
• Developing and maintaining software products and solutions offered by the company.
