Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang) to design, develop and deliver scalable web applications. You will lead architecture discussions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into robust solutions.

The role emphasizes strong fundamentals in software design, testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native patterns, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on software development experience.
• Experience leading software development projects or teams.
• Front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, and system scalability.
• Experience in designing and architecting complex, distributed, and highly available systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
