GLOBALG.A.P. Auditor, Gauteng (Independent Contractors)

Job Description

We're looking for self-employed GLOBALG.A.P. Auditors to join our team in Gauteng.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct GLOBALG.A.P. Assessments
2. Summarize and evaluate audit findings, and submit reports in a timely manner
3. Communicate findings and results of audits with client site management or appropriate client representatives
4. Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits within a determined timeframe
5. Establish and maintain effective communication with key team members including audit delivery and client teams

1. Ability to speak English, Afrikaans, and local African language
2. Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture with subjects directly related to plants and crops (not animals)
3. Working farm experience of at least 2 years, actively involved in farming fruits, vegetables, crops or flowers
4. HACCP training (1 Day)
5. Food safety training (1 Day)
6. Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor training
7. Training in IPM
8. Fertilizer Management and handling of Agrichemicals
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Must have driving license and own vehicle
11. Willingness and ability to travel
12. Willingness to be away from their home base during peak season for 5 - 10 days at a time
13. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office

If you have these, it's a huge plus:

1. GLOBALG.A.P. approval for IFA Option 1 and Option 2 and auditing experience, with Tesco Nurture as a qualification
2. Addition module qualifications that will be beneficial include the latest versions of GRASP, SPRING, AH-DLL GROW, and LEAF Marque
3. Reside in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, or Polokwane
