We're looking for self-employed GLOBALG.A.P. Auditors to join our team in Gauteng.
Responsibilities
- Conduct GLOBALG.A.P. Assessments
- Summarize and evaluate audit findings, and submit reports in a timely manner
- Communicate findings and results of audits with client site management or appropriate client representatives
- Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits within a determined timeframe
- Establish and maintain effective communication with key team members including audit delivery and client teams
Qualifications- Ability to speak English, Afrikaans, and local African language
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture with subjects directly related to plants and crops (not animals)
- Working farm experience of at least 2 years, actively involved in farming fruits, vegetables, crops or flowers
- HACCP training (1 Day)
- Food safety training (1 Day)
- Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor training
- Training in IPM
- Fertilizer Management and handling of Agrichemicals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have driving license and own vehicle
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Willingness to be away from their home base during peak season for 5 - 10 days at a time
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
If you have these, it's a huge plus:
- GLOBALG.A.P. approval for IFA Option 1 and Option 2 and auditing experience, with Tesco Nurture as a qualification
- Addition module qualifications that will be beneficial include the latest versions of GRASP, SPRING, AH-DLL GROW, and LEAF Marque
- Reside in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, or Polokwane
