Job summary

G Adventures is seeking a Reservations Specialist to expertly manage flight bookings, ticketing, and all on-tour reservations while coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers across East & Southern Africa. You will handle private departures, VIP groups, and complex itineraries, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.

The role requires 3+ years in travel with reservations experience, strong customer service in fast-paced settings, and mentorship across the Reservations team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in travel industry with reservations and operations experience.
• Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders and external flight suppliers.
• Excellent customer service in fast-paced environments; knowledge of East & Southern Africa region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flight bookings, ticketing, and inventory using airline reservation systems.
• Manage Private Departures, groups, and VIP reservations; coordinate with staff and suppliers.
• Handle reservations validations, invoicing reconciliation, and partner with finance.
• Provide guidance to Reservations team and mentor coordinators.
• Support cross-functional projects and process improvements.
