Job summary

Yonda Tax in Cape Town seeks a Registration Specialist to manage indirect tax registrations across the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. You will communicate with tax offices, verify information, and escalate appropriately, with a monthly in-person requirement in Cape Town.

You’ll work with Support and Customer Success Managers, handle registrations end-to-end, monitor the registrations inbox, and respond to tax office inquiries while maintaining good standing of registrations.

• Client-facing role in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Experience handling escalations in support functions.
• Ability to learn about Yonda and our product line.
• Comfort navigating admin portals.
• Clear written communication for tax office and client correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Call the IRS to obtain FEINs for new registrations.
• Follow up with tax offices on delayed or stuck registrations.
• Action new registrations end-to-end.
• Monitor the registrations inbox and respond to tax office correspondence.
• Resolve Intercom tickets escalated by CSMs on registration issues.
• Field client questions from upselling outreach, escalating where needed.
• Use the admin portal's filters to self-manage outstanding work.
• Follow and give feedback on internal registration guides.
