Placements24 is seeking a strategic and results-driven Remote Sourcing Specialist to join the procurement team. This role supports operations remotely, identifying, evaluating, and onboarding global suppliers to drive cost savings, quality, and risk mitigation across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include market analysis, contract negotiations, and building strong supplier relationships to support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or related supply chain role.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Strong analytical and market research skills; able to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management for remote work.
• Proficiency with sourcing platforms and procurement software.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential suppliers globally, assessing capabilities, reliability, and pricing.
• Lead negotiation efforts for new and existing supplier contracts, aiming for optimal terms and cost efficiencies.
