Job summary

ATS Client is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant (Chief Expert) to support global Payroll and Benefits across multiple countries. You will focus on operational payroll execution, functional configuration, and ongoing support in a large enterprise environment.

In a global Agile setting, you will collaborate with stakeholders, service providers, and IT teams to optimize payroll processes, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality payroll outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in SAP HCM Payroll (operations, support, or development).
• SAP HCM Payroll certification.
• Expert hands-on experience with SAP Payroll configuration (schemas, rules, wage types, customizing).
• Strong knowledge of SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, PT).
• Deep understanding of payroll processes, controls, and best practices.
• High attention to detail and strong quality focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and provide operational payroll runs across multiple countries.
• Provide functional support to business teams and stakeholders.
• Configure and maintain payroll schemas, rules, and wage types.
• Translate business requirements into SAP Payroll configuration.
• Perform functional testing and support SIT.
• Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within SLA timelines.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and drive process improvements.
• Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and high-quality payroll outcomes.
