Role Purpose

As the Global Repair Service Manager, you will be responsible for driving the repair business across our global network of service centers for designated product lines. This includes full shadow P&L ownership, executing growth strategies, and ensuring standardization, pricing integrity, and alignment with our go-to-market approach. You will collaborate with regional teams to develop and transform the repair offering into a scalable, customer-focused, and value-adding solution. This role is key to FLSmidth's aftermarket strategy and involves transforming repair services from transactional support to long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Ownership & Growth
    • Own the repair portfolio for designated equipment/product lines globally.
    • Develop and implement strategies to scale the repair business, identify high-potential markets, and define go-to-market strategies.
    • Lead business model transformation towards predictive and partnership-based services.
    • Drive market penetration efforts with regional sales teams.
  2. Operational Excellence
    • Set and maintain global standards for repair processes and tools.
    • Standardize pricing, procedures, and proposal templates.
    • Provide technical consulting for complex repair projects.
    • Lead global demand planning efforts.
  3. Cross-functional & Strategic Alignment
    • Coordinate with engineering and other teams to ensure design-to-service alignment.
    • Collaborate on refining repair offerings and pricing models.
    • Assess and implement partnership models to enhance capabilities.
  4. Customer & Market Engagement
    • Engage with key accounts to understand service needs and promote repair solutions.
    • Support commercial teams in positioning repair services as a core value proposition.
    • Analyze market trends and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years’ experience in service business, preferably in industrial or mining repair environments.
  • Understanding of service center capabilities and repair operations.
  • Experience operating in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong commercial and technical knowledge of aftermarket service delivery.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategy, P&L management, and global operations.
