Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Operations Manager for a renowned international NGO. You will oversee remote daily operations, guide a distributed team, and optimize processes to ensure the organization runs efficiently across programs and initiatives.

The role requires 5–7 years in operations, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of operations management experience, with remote or distributed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; financial acumen and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine operational policies and procedures for a remote-first organization.
• Oversee daily administrative and operational functions, ensuring smooth execution of programs and initiatives.
• Manage the operational budget, including forecasting, tracking expenditures, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Lead, mentor, and support a remote team of administrative and operational staff.
• Implement and manage effective communication and collaboration tools for a distributed workforce.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and services, negotiating with vendors to achieve cost savings.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the organization's IT infrastructure and digital security protocols in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external operational inquiries.
