Placements24 is seeking a Remote Early Childhood Development Consultant to guide the design and implementation of curricula and programs for young learners worldwide. The role emphasizes expert guidance, remote collaboration, and evidence-based practices.

The candidate will translate research into practical recommendations, review educational materials, and develop virtual workshops for educators. A Master’s/PhD and 8+ years in the field are preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in early childhood education, with a strong focus on consulting, curriculum development, or program design.
• Demonstrated expertise in child development theories, learning sciences, and effective pedagogical strategies for young children.
• Proven experience in remote collaboration and working effectively within distributed teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
• Ability to translate complex research and theories into practical, actionable recommendations.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and educational technology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation on the design, development, and evaluation of early childhood curricula and programs.
• Advise on best practices in early childhood pedagogy, child development, and learning environments.
• Review and provide feedback on educational materials, resources, and digital learning platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and effectiveness of educational content.
• Conduct research on emerging trends and innovations in early childhood education.
• Develop training materials and deliver workshops (virtual) for educators and program facilitators.
• Assist in the development of assessment strategies and tools for young learners.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and vision for the organization's early childhood initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national and international early childhood education standards and policies.
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
