Job summary

Solenis seeks a Global Regulatory Strategy Specialist to drive regulatory intelligence and advocacy across markets worldwide.

You will bridge Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Innovation, Sustainability, Government Affairs, and Commercial teams to advance regulatory strategy, risk management, and governance globally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience in regulatory affairs, product stewardship, regulatory strategy, government affairs, environmental compliance, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting global chemical, specialty chemical, cleaning, water treatment, biocide, or industrial product portfolios preferred.
  • Working knowledge of global chemical regulations such as REACH, CLP/GHS, TSCA, CEPA, UK REACH, and K-REACH.
  • Familiarity with regulatory impact assessment, regulatory intelligence, and horizon-scanning practices.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess emerging global regulatory developments affecting Solenis products, technologies, and markets.
  • Develop regulatory trend analyses and strategic impact assessments for business leadership.
  • Lead or contribute to quarterly regulatory outlook reports and regulatory intelligence publications.
  • Support the identification of regulatory risks, opportunities, and long-term business implications.
  • Maintain regulatory intelligence processes, tools, and knowledge-sharing mechanisms.
  • Represent Solenis in trade associations, working groups, industry committees, and stakeholder forums.
  • Manage strategic relationships with external regulatory and industry organizations.
  • Partner with Innovation, R&D, and Product Stewardship teams to provide strategic regulatory support for innovation projects and new product development.
  • Support development and maintenance of global regulatory policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide regulatory and stewardship support for corporate sustainability initiatives.
  • Translate complex regulatory developments into business-relevant guidance and communications.
  • Prepare executive briefings, white papers, presentations, and strategic summaries on regulatory topics.
  • Support maintenance of internal regulatory knowledge platforms, dashboards, and communication channels.

Position Summary

The Global Regulatory Strategy Specialist supports the development and execution of Solenis' global regulatory strategy by providing regulatory intelligence, driving advocacy initiatives, supporting innovation programs, coordinating industry engagement, and delivering strategic regulatory insights to business stakeholders. You will be the bridge between Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Innovation, Sustainability, Government Affairs, and Commercial teams to proactively manage regulatory opportunities and risks impacting the global business portfolio.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $77,270.00 and $113,322.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
